My Journey

From mind to paper and back again.

Bless his little socks, after seven days of the teether toy trials Oliver is still teething and last night no amount of teether toys, teething gel or consoling helped.  We even tried cold baby juice and an ice pole (the little bit of ice pole worked for a few minutes).  In the end we had to revert for Calpol and cuddle him until it set in which was awful, if I could suffer the teething pain for him; I would just to take the pain away.  That’s for us to deal with though.

Here is a round up of all the teether toys we have tried with Oliver in the past week and the stars that we awarded them (out of five).

We have a few favourites as you can see, but our overall, bestest, teether toy from Nuby is:

The Gum-eez!!!!!!

With it’s dummy shape and the ability to put the teether gel directly on to this, we absolutely love it!

Since no – one entered the competition to win one of the teether toys, I will run a different competition next month 🙂

Poor little man last night after the Calpol had helped to settle him.

I wish I’d thought about it sooner to enter! Just visiting the Nuby website to order my gum-eez and icy bite keys :). Thanks for the reviews, has helped me choose what to get Charlotte as the things we have already are for when she is older, but like Oliver, she is teething early! (She has a tooth you can see already!) hope you are well X
