My Journey

From mind to paper and back again.

A Good Day

on September 20, 2012

The first good day that I feel like I have had in a while.  I’m 33 weeks today and have been told by numerous midwives that with OC they don’t like to let mothers go past 37 weeks.  So in my head I am now on a 4 week count down.  4  weeks seems far to close to be thinking that I will be bringing a baby into the world and I won’t be able to give him back!  I think the panic has set in now well and truly.

This is my 33 week bump, what do you think?  I think it is lower than it has been and feeling pressure ‘down there’ but midwife confirmed today that baby isn’t engaged as yet and she wouldn’t expect it this early on.  Other than that, my midwife appointment went fine, she was aghast at how much my notes had grown in the past 2 weeks but then with the amount of appointments I’ve been having its no wonder they had to add extra pages in.

My scratching is still worsening and keeping me up at nights now, especially as it is affecting my entire body (although my hands and feet are still the worse places).

I’ve been and had a really nice day with my friend Claire from work today too.  We’ve had a good natter and I’ve been caught up on all the gossip.  I’m looking forwards to doing it again soon 🙂

Other than that I don’t have much to tell today.  Thank you all for asking about me, I really appreciate it x Have a good evening and I shall be back on Saturday after my breast feeding class and monitoring appointment xxx I’m off to watch One Born Every Minute for now then I will be crawling into bed xxxxx

God bless you Kirstyanne, I so glad that for a change you’ve had a good day. How exciting it is to be counting down, you will just be so happy when that little baby is put in your arms. Love Mandy x
