My Stitching, an update

on September 13, 2011

Well, I still can’t divulge what I am stitching, but I can say that I am making much more headway on it than I have done for a while.  However, I thought I would share my next major project that is set to start on Christmas day.  I will be undertaking a Heaven and Earth Design (HAED) – the artwork is by Ching Chou Kuik and it is called Butterfly No 2.  It is part of their ‘Quick Stitch’ range and takes only ‘50’ colours.  It will be one of the biggest designs I have ever stitched even though it will be smaller than most as it is only stitched on 25 count fabric.  I will be using Laguna in White as when it is framed there will be no fabric showing.  If you click on the two pictures it should take you to heaven and earth designs main website with these charts on.

Here is a picture of what the finished chart will look like:

Once this one is done I will make a start on this one:

I am hoping that you guys will keep me going with this, I am a serial starter when it comes to large projects, please help me become a serial finisher. Smile The first thing I will be doing is gridding the projects up, I have already started accumulating the threads I need for the first chart, the second requires 99 colours, so I will work on getting those piecemeal while I work through my first chart.

I hope you like the charts as much as I do, I can’t wait to start.

Happy Stitching!

Thanks Tamara – I can’t wait to get started on them – Heaven and Earth do some beautiful charts. Will have to wait for Xmas day before I can start though – I have other things that I need to finish in the mean time but I can’t wait!
