My Journey

From mind to paper and back again.

Activity 13.3

The bull is wild, stubborn and strong to a last
With nostrils flaring and horns lowered to the floor
Knees bent, hoof pawing the ground and ruined grass
The red flag is waving distracting from task.
The shoulders are broad and can carry all the weight
The world piles on without thinking to ask
Or even pause to say ‘is okay with you?’
The bull plods on regardless of the outcome
Don’t strike his anger if you want to live long
He won’t tolerate the challenge you give him
A fierce competitor in him you find
And the same in me I won’t be left behind
