My Journey

Activity 12.7

on January 13, 2009
Title used: Anthropormorphisation for beginners
Quote: The word itself is a musical sound – Pierre Bernac
Gods come and go as belief soars and disbands
And Death becomes real with his scythe in hand
The beat of the drum is yearning
And to the beat the world keeps turning
Religions are born and children weep
As the Tooth Fairies work through the night shifts sleep
The bunnies of Easter will frolic and play
While Santa’s elves must slave away
But still the beat of the world is heard
And the beat of the sound is then transferred
Its heart creates music for the pattern of life
While Death waits patiently, holding his scythe.

Hi Kirstyanne,I quite like this, although at times the rhythm seems a bit disjointed. I think a few extra syllables need to be found for a few lines, and there is something, though I don\’t know what, not right in the tooth fairy line. It needs a little jiggling, I think. Other than that, it\’s fab!
