MAJOR LIFE EVENTS HAPPY AND TRAUMATIC

Car crash at nineteen killed his parents, he was driving and had never forgiven himself even though the police said he’d done nothing wrong and are still ‘looking’ for the other driver who caused the accident – also the reason for his bad knee.

HABBITS

Bites nails and taps foot when nervous; doesn’t eat fish at all.

APPEARANCE

Riley is taller than the rest of his family but not overly tall.  He has dark brown hair, tanned skin and green gypsy like eyes.  When he smiles his entire face lights up.  His hair is starting to thin slightly on the top revealing a slight brow.  He has a well toned body due to the sports he does.  His normal clothes portray a business like man opting to wear suits for work even though most turn up in jeans and t-shirts.  His hair is cut short, shaved close to his head.

HABITUAL ACTION

Riley has a habit of biting his nails when bored or nervous or upset – something he did a lot when he’d just had the car crash was bite his nails subconsciously that far down that his fingers would bleed slightly.

SPEECH/SCENE

‘Humph.’  He sat down with a thud on the sofa, only slightly knocking the wind out of him.

‘I’m fed up of talking about my day at work, they all blend into one now.  Tell me about your day – we never talk about you and I like to hear about your day.”  He accepted the cup of coffee gladly looking straight into her eyes with a smile of thanks – he was trying.  She knew he was.
